Salsa Verde (Green tomatillo sauce)

Serves 4 people
Ingredients:
-1 pound of green tomatoes
-3 or 4 Serrano peppers
-1/2 Onion (1/2 cup)
-1/4 cup Cilantro
-1 Garlic clove
-1 Tbsp of chicken broth
-Salt and Pepper to taste

-Green tomatillos and avocado sauce
-Raw green tomatillo sauce

Step number 1 is to wash and disinfect all de ingredients.

Put all ingredients, exept the cilantro, in a pot and cover with water, add some salt and boil for about 8-10 minutes or until the green tomatoes change from a bright green to a brown-ish green color.

Once they change color, blend with the fresh cilantro and barely enought water to blend, use the same cooking water. Warning when blending hot stuff.

In a frying pan, heat up a tablespoon of oil and then pour the green sauce and cook for a couple of minutes.
Add 1/2 of tbsp of chicken broth, and season.
Serve and enjoy!!
